  my favorite is currently....the transfiguration of vincent by m. ward.

  i thought nobody heard of him, then i got freaked out when they played him on hbo!

  very addictive album, lots of catchy folk tunes, includes a great rendition of bowie's "let's dance".

  a very disturbing programme tonight on bbc1 about the after effects of a terrorist dirty bomb going off in the city of london.i thought it was (i imagine anyway) a very realistic portrayal.i think the most disturbing thing was the sheer panic followed by the seeming impotence of the emergency services .a radioactive bomb outside liverpool street station at the height of commuter time is a very terrifying prospect.. theyre debating it at the minute on the beeb.seems some think its just an alarmist situation that shouldnt be taken too seriously.. i personally think its a good thing to be reminded about what could happen if the intelligence agencies take their foot off the gas.

  If Something Bad Happens To A JW, Are You Happy?

  every so often, i read that some posters have such contempt for jehovah's witnesses, that they are happy when they hear that one died or suffered from cancer or some other disease or tragedy.

  they rationalize things by saying, "jws are so corrupt that getting rid of them in any way is good!".

  or, "i'm glad that this bad thing happened to them.

  The only "bad news for JW's" that makes me happy is declining numbers.

  Agreed.I definitely dont rejoice when Bad things happen to anyone...maybe more so when its a Jw.I was one from age 5 for nearly 30 Years and still have Friends in it.

  Cant stand the Music,but i have to say he definitely comes over well in Interviews....Bowling for Columbine,he made some astute,intelligent observations on American Gun problems.
